Kale-ginger with chia smoothie



I use chia seeds in smoothie recipes. They are a good source of fiber, protein and omega 3 fatty acids.

This smoothie has all good greens and ginger to pump up the flavour.


Ingredients:


  • 1 cup torn fresh kale

  • 1 banana sliced

  • 1 cup unsweetened plant milk

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt 2% fat

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 ripe avocado

  • 1/2 tsp sliced ginger


Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. (Add honey if you like)
