Going to your #local #farmersmarket or grocery store, you will find the best asparagus you can in May and June.

#Ontario grows mostly #greenasparagus and less than 1% #whiteasparagus.

To keep asparagus fresh, I do the same as grocery stores.

I cut the bottom of them about 1” and put them in a container bottom filled with water.

This way asparagus stays fresh for longer time in fridge.
