This vegetarian meal comes together so quickly with adding soy sauce and chilli it has the kick.
Ingredients:
2 cups extra firm tofu drained and cut in cubes
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp fresh ginger grated
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
2 Tbsp cooking oil
2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
1/2 lb green beans, trimmed
1/4 cup crushed hazelnuts
Lemon wedges 🍋 🍋🍋
1/2 Tbsp lemon zest
cilantro chopped for garnish
Instructions:
In a small bowl mix soy sauce, ginger and chilli flakes.
In a large skillet heat the oil and add tofu. Cook until brown not stirring. About 5 minutes. Turn and cook the other side of tofu.
Move tofu to one side of skillet. Add garlic and beans cook about 4 minutes.
Mix tofu with beans and add the soy sauce mix.
Add the hazelnuts.
If needed add about 3 Tbsp boiling water. And bring to boil.
garnish with lemon zest and cilantro and Serve with lemon wedges.
