Tofu and green beans warm salad



This vegetarian meal comes together so quickly with adding soy sauce and chilli it has the kick.


Ingredients:


  • 2 cups extra firm tofu drained and cut in cubes

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger grated

  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes

  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil

  • 2 garlic cloves thinly sliced

  • 1/2 lb green beans, trimmed

  • 1/4 cup crushed hazelnuts

  • Lemon wedges 🍋 🍋🍋

  • 1/2 Tbsp lemon zest

  • cilantro chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl mix soy sauce, ginger and chilli flakes.

  2. In a large skillet heat the oil and add tofu. Cook until brown not stirring. About 5 minutes. Turn and cook the other side of tofu.

  3. Move tofu to one side of skillet. Add garlic and beans cook about 4 minutes.

  4. Mix tofu with beans and add the soy sauce mix.

  5. Add the hazelnuts.

  6. If needed add about 3 Tbsp boiling water. And bring to boil.

  7. garnish with lemon zest and cilantro and Serve with lemon wedges.
